Huh. The version of the story that I heard went that the Amazons went after her. They demanded for her to kill Theseus, and when Antiope refused, they killed her. Theseus then slaughtered all of them.
I think I like your version better. It just makes her sound like more of an agent in her own destiny, somehow.
